Bill,
I was so sad to hear of Vita's passing. She was the toughest (in the best way possible) woman I have ever known. She overcame so many obstacles throughout her life and career. I am so glad to have worked with her and become her friend. I will miss her spirit and her unmatched knowledge of baseball and her beloved Cardinals! She is at peace now and the pain is finally gone. RIP Vita.

She sang at my wedding. I remember people turning to look up to the choir and see who the singer with the beautiful voice was. Rest in Peace.
