Ward Overall Obituary

Overall, Ward Graham

April 2, 1939 - June 26, 2025

Ward Graham Overall; affectionally called "Papa" or "Boom-Pa") was born on April 2nd, 1939 in Farmington, MO. A life-long Missourian, he earned degrees from Central Methodist University and St. Louis University. Ward went on to work for Monsanto and later founded his own marketing company alongside family and friends until his retirement. Ward was a founding council member of the City of Chesterfield, MO and took great pride in its development.

Ward was happily married for 62 years, he is survived by his wife: Judy; his brother: Wilson; his daughters: Erin, Kricky, and Kelly; his grandchildren: Taylor, Carson, Kylie and Henry; and one great granddaughter: Harper.

Ward loved to spend time with his family, grilling (burning) meats outdoors and affectionally teasing them with beloved nicknames and trademark sayings. Ward frequently traveled to Captiva, FL with his family throughout the years, always making sure to watch for the "green flash" at sunset. An avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, his legacy is remembered by a brick placed in his honor near the Stan Musial statue at Busch Stadium that reads: "Great times, great memories, great dad. We love you".

Ward passed away on Thursday, June 26th, 2025, at the age of 86. He was a kind, intelligent, caring man and a role model to his family. He will always be remembered for his magnetism, love, and sense of humor.

My deepest condolences.

I meet Ward after I retired and worked a part-time job. He would always talk to me when he arrived. I found him to be friendly and funny. Saw him many times after the business closed. I hadn't seen Ward in a while and was wondering what he was up to. I am so sad to hear of his passing. I got to know him well and considered Ward a friend,
