Stechmann, Wayne Elmer asleep in Jesus, Wednesday, August 16, 2006.
Beloved husband of Karen L. Stechmann (nee Appel); dear father of Derek and Jared Stechmann; brother of Cpt. Donald (Jeanne) Stechmann, Kenneth (Sue) Stechmann and Beverly (Robert) Johnson; son of the late Henry and Gertrude Stechmann; dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend.
Wayne graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1957. He served 2 years in the U.S. Army and retired from Daimler Chrysler in 2000 as a Zone Fleet Manager after 34 years of service.Services: Funeral service at St. John Lutheran Church, 15808 Manchester Rd., Ellisville, Monday 10:15 a.m. Interment St. John Lutheran Cemetery. If desired, contributions may be made to American Heart Assn. Visitation at the SCHRADER Funeral Home, 14960 Manchester Rd. at Holloway, Ballwin, Sunday 4-8 p.m. and at Church Monday one hour prior to serv ice. Friends may sign the family's on-line guestbook at
