For some unknown reason Bill always called me Patsy! I will never forget him coming through the front door at Western Bowl and saying "hey, it's Patsy"! He was a grand man in stature and at heart. Dorothy and girls, he will forever be in my memory and heart.

Love you all!

Dorothy,Jennifer Katie,Karen...
You know how much Bill meant to us; he was one of a kind. He could always make people laugh with his jokes; and
sometimes go.. huh? He was a kind and
thoughtful man; he stepped up to help
our Angel when she was going through hard times. Not only by us, but he will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

ST. LOUIS COUNCIL #453 KNIGHTS of COLUMBUS

November 29, 2013

Dear DOROTHY and the HRDLICKA FAMILY:
Please know of the deepest prayerful sympathy of Sir BILL's Brother Knights of his Home Council, the ST. LOUIS COUNCIL #453 KNIGHTS of COLUMBUS (founded 1899) on his passing.

Sir BILL truly set the pace for effective, spiritually inspired Columbian leadership and support during his many years as an Officer and Active Member of our Council and the St. Louis FOURTH DEGREE ASSEMBLY, as well his duty as District Deputy and in State leadership roles on a number of occasions.

During the course of his lengthy Columbian leadership, Sir BILL cheerfully embraced the initiative, community support, spiritual foundation and faithfulness that have inspired all of us and many of his fellow Knights throughout the region and the state.

Know of our prayerful sympathy, DOROTHY, for you and BILL's family at this time. Be assured of our prayerful remembrance of BILL, and our sincere appreciation for his many years of talented Columbian leadership that will continue to inspire many of the KofC councils in metro St. Louis and elsewhere for years to come.

May God Grant Sir BILL Eternal Rest, and all of you consolation.

Sincerely,
Sir JOHN DEREAK
Grand Knight

Dear Dorothy, Jennifer, Karen and Katie,
I will always have a smile on my face when remembering Bill. Loved his jokes, his love of bowling and the Cardinals. I can always remember him laughing with Uncle Jim. He was a very special guy and you were so lucky to have him. I remember how he coined the name Dart for Dorothy. There are a lot of memories. Love to all of you. He is watching over all of you now.
Love,
Nancy, Dan and family
