Haegele, William Joseph "Bill"
Age 57, of Town and Country, passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 24, 2024. Bill is preceded in death by his parents Paul and Eulalia (nee Albreit) Haegele; succeeded by his wife of 27 years, Viola Haegele (nee Martindell) and his Godchildren Joshua Martindell, Shaun Nelson, Jason (Xander) Hale, Carter Schmitz as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, countless friends and many adopted kinship with "nieces and nephews".
Bill is a 1985 graduate of Vianney High School. He was born an entrepreneur. In 3rd grade, Bill stated to his teacher he will have his own lawn service and snow removal company, wholesale business, car dealership and will be president. He succeeded in all of these becoming president of that lawn service and snow removal company, wholesale business and car dealership.
Bill enjoyed life to the fullest. Making sure that everyone around him did as well. He formed lifelong, impactful relationships both professionally and personally. Bill was always building new relationships, while embracing the old ones with routine morning calls to start the day. He was blessed with memorable travels to the Caribbean, Italy, Amsterdam, Munich and his favorite, Africa. He enjoyed being by the water. Whether boating on the river or the Lake of the Ozarks, relaxing on the dock at Innsbrook, ocean view trips to Florida or just sitting by the pond at home.
His passion for cooking was enjoyed by many and he unselfishly shared old and new recipes. Bill also had a talent for creating home blueprint plans as well as landscape and interior designs.
If Bill was not at work or home, you could often find him at one of his 5 mile radius restaurants sitting at his designated favorite table and seat.
Bill will always be remembered, loved, and missed by all who knew him. He set an example to us all by "Doing it his way" !!

Dear Vi, this morning I said to Margaret " I want to call Billy and buy a car from him." She replied" Billy died this past summer." I was very shocked to say the least. I searched the web & found Billy´s obituary. Vi I want you to know that Billy was a great guy and I´m sure you´re going to miss him to the end of time. I´m so sorry and my sympathy goes out to you your friend Joey.

Bill was certainly "one of a kind"! He had a way of making everyone feel like family. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this very sad time.
