l trained with Bill at jEWISH HOSPITAL, him in INTERNAL MEDICINE, me in SURGERY. We were friends, not real pals and we kept in sporadic touch over the years.
i had a great deal of respect for his clinical acumen and his judgment of his fellow man. lt was true that he made a mistake or two in that area once or twice but overall he was impeccable. l am sad to see him go.

He was the best Cardiologist who kept my husband and myself healthy. He was a doctor among doctors. He will be greatly missed by our family. He was a good friend and caring cardiologist.

Bill was not only a great Cardiologist, but also an accomplished and avid golfer. We were partners in many Hospital house staff and STL medical society tounaments. Later Bill would become my prmary care physician and I always admired his knowledge, wisdom, compassion, and throughness. One of the best things a physician can experience in his career are the great relationships with friends, colleagues, and patients, and Bill had that with his peers and patients,
