Neumarker, William Richard "Dick"
On January 19th, 2022 with his family at his side, William Richard Neumarker was delivered to heaven on Angel Wings. William was born on February 5, 1937, in Columbus, Nebraska to the parents of William and Marcelle. At the age of 17 William enlisted in the U.S. Navy, where he served for 3 years. After his discharge, William enjoyed a fulfilling career of 35 years as an Engineer Technician for the State of Illinois District 8.
William is survived by the love of his life, Joan. They married on July 1, 1961. Over the next 60 years, they experienced a lifetime full of precious memories. They would travel the world, enjoy family vacations, and attend their grandchildren's events.
Throughout his life William was a devoted father and proud to say he had three wonderful daughters: He survived by all three of them: Lisa House and her husband Lance, Nancy Forlenza and her husband Joe, Marian Neumarker-Petri, and her husband Michael. His greatest joy was the chance to enjoy his grandchildren Kaila Pirrie, Kelsey Snow, Joseph Forlenza, Karissa Pirrie, Trent House, Nicole Forlenza, Cole Petri, Maclain Petri and Ava Petri. He was lucky enough to see the birth of his only great-grandchild, Jameson. William was always blessed to enjoy a large family that included four brothers-in-law, one sister-in-law, nieces, and nephews. William is preceded in death by his parents, sister Nancy Hazuka and brother Jim Neumarker.

To Nancy - my sincerest condolences to you and your family. I wasn't aware that your dad had been in the Navy. My dad was in the military so my parents are buried at Jefferson Barracks. When I visit their gravesite, I'll be sure to stop by to say hi to your dad as well.
