James Edward Twiford

James Edward Twiford, age 75 of Tracy, CA. He passed away on 9/3/2025 at his home. He was born on April 24, 2025, in San Francisco, CA. He grew up in Santa Clara. Jim went to Buscher High School, class of 1968. He was an Army veteran and was in the Vietnam War. In 1985, Jim married Diane Twiford (Romo). He worked at the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation in Tracy, CA. He is survived by his wife Diane Twiford, his daughter, Brittney Smith, son in law Mark Smith Jr. and his two granddaughters Brianna and Jessica Smith. His sister in laws were Debra Elsey (Romo) and Jennifer Brown (Romo). His nieces Sherese, Kellie, Madeline and Nephew Corey. We want to thank Anna Fernandez, his caregiver for the last several years of his life for taking great care of him and Hospice of San Joaquin. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters
