Roberta Kisner Obituary

Roberta (Bobbi) Lynn Kisner passed away on May 7, 2025, in Manteca, California. She was born on August 16, 1956, in Alameda, California, to the late Richard and Barbara Stokes. Bobbi dedicated her life to caring for others, working in the nursing field for an extraordinary 51 years and as an RN for 33 of those years. Her unwavering compassion and generosity touched countless lives. Known for her strong will and open heart, she never met a stranger and was always ready to lend a helping hand. She is survived by her devoted husband of 48 years, Roy Kisner; her children Timothy (Allison) Kisner of Palm Coast, Florida, and Traci (Jason) Patterson of Manteca, California. Bobbi was blessed with five grandchildren: Jodie (Zach) Ensley of Viera, Florida; Julia Owens of Newport News, Virginia; Hailey (Amiee) Brock of Hayes, Virginia; Denise (Scott) Bridges of Mt. Ranch, California; and Adriana (Damien) Roux of Manteca, California. She also leaves behind ten cherished great-grandchildren. Bobbi was preceded in death by her brothers Richard Allen Stokes Jr. and Paul Todd Stokes. In addition to her professional dedication and love for family, Bobbi found joy in sewing, quilting, traveling with her husband, and spending time with friends and family. She had a passion for shopping and the thrill of finding a good deal. She will be deeply missed.

Bobbi was such an amazing woman with so many talents and a heart of gold. When I was young, I met her daughter when we played softball together at age 10. Their family and our family became instant friends and have remained friends for 35 years. Traci, her daughter, is one of my best friends. Bobbi always made me feel loved, welcomed and had a true joy for life and family/friends. She was an incredible decorator and so organized - and her quilts were incredible. She made me a quilt when my dad passed that I will treasure for my lifetime. Bobbi - you will be missed by so many. With great sympathy, Jill Tiedeman and family

Such a role model person. Always organized in her thoughts and all she did in life. I loved how she found humor in life and found goodness in everyone she met. Such a beautiful soul. She is greatly missed.

Bobbi and I worked together at CFMG in Modesto. She was funny, fun and a great nurse. She will be missed. My heartfelt condolences to her lovely family.
