Yong Pak, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on June 6, 2025, in Lodi, California. She was 73 years old. Born in Jinju, South Korea on October 27, 1951. In 1980, she immigrated to the United States from South Korea to provide a better opportunity for her children. Before settling in California's Central Valley in 2022, she made her home in San Antonio, Texas, where later on she co-owned and operated a Chinese-Korean Restaurant. As both the co-owner and chef, she poured her heart into her cooking, sharing her love of food with her community. Yong was a woman of many passions. She loved gardening, taking long walks, trying new restaurants, and, most of all, spending time with her family. She took great pride in her children and grandchildren. She found joy in the simple pleasures of everyday life. She found a sense of peace when attending Bansuk Presbyterian Church with her son and family. Yong lived her life filled with warmth and devotion to her family. She is survived by her loving sons, Pong Pak (Yoon-Jeong) and Justyn Pak (Melinda), and her adored grandchildren: Roman, Ruby, and Olivia. Her feisty spirit, witty demeanor, sharp sense of humor, deeply caring and generous nature touched everyone who knew her. To send flowers to the family of Yong, please visit our floral store.
