Duane Baldwin Jr. Obituary
Duane "Skip" H. Baldwin Jr., age 67, of Constantine, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2016, at his home.
He was born Aug. 26, 1948, in Three Rivers, a son of Duane and Margaret (Bender) Baldwin Sr.
Duane graduated from Constantine High School in 1968 and went on to serve in the U.S. Marine Corps for 22 years. On Sept. 3, 1982, he married Susan Whitsel in Albany, Ga. He also worked at Owens of Illinois and Rexam as an electrician. Duane enjoyed gardening, garage sales, trivia and computer games.
Surviving Duane are his wife, Susan; son Duane (Jennifer) Baldwin III and their three children; daughter Dara Baldwin (Mike Hopwood); daughter Helena Baldwin; son Joshua Baldwin; siblings Beverly (Frank) Strawser and MaryAnn (Harry) McDaniel; several nieces and nephews; and close family friends Nancy and Dave Windsor and their four children. His parents preceded him in death.
Cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends will be received noon-1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 15, at Eley Funeral Home in Constantine. Memorial services will follow at 1 p.m., with Pastor Scott Manning officiating. Interment will occur at a later date in Constantine Township Cemetery.
