Ronald Dibble Obituary

Dibble, Ronald Howard Sr. a.k.a Papa; the man, the myth, the legend….. A naturalist, Adventurist, Passionate Motorcyclist, Master Welder and Motorcycle Mechanic, Husband of “The” late Olga Dibble, Devoted Father, Loving Step-Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather died on Friday, August 29, 2014. Ron was a nobleman and humble man who filled the world with knowledge and beauty. Many people will forever be filled with the incredible joy he felt for life. Long live the beauty that comes down and through and onto all of us! You might remember him from the signature ponytail or always there with wide open arms to welcome anyone or conversations you may have had that were more brilliant than a late summer sunset (on topics from the 53 Chevy to light speed and beyond). His spirit is carried on by his three children, two step-daughters, six grandchildren and one on the way, sive surviving siblings, his mother and extended family of relations and friends from every walk of life. We have been blessed to learn many valuable lessons from Ron during his 61 years. I am proud… I’m proud of all of you. Carry on my friends! A Memorial Party will be held at the homestead (6356 Andersonville Road, Waterford MI 48329) on Saturday September 6, 2014 at 2 p.m. Please call Jennifer if you have any questions (810) 228.1200. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, siblings and mother: children: Stacy and Matt Demerest, Ronald Howard Dibble, Jr., Emily and Doug Milligan, Jeannie Mortimore, Debbie and Joe Williams; grandchildren: Olivia and Thomas Blakely, Walter Goeckel, Lucy Thienel, Lila and Carmen Williams, Matthew Demerest, and baby Milligan; great grandchildren: Thomas and Skyler Blakely; siblings: Thomas and Sharon Dibble, Daniel and Colleen Dibble, Sally and Steve Lang, Rod Dibble, Gary and Cindy Dibble.; mother: Alice Dibble. A very special thank you to Cheryl and staff from Assured Hospice Care for all your wonderful help and support during the last weeks.

It has been such an honor for many years to call Ron our friend and family. We are so sad to see him leave us here but we are happy knowing he and his beautiful wife have been reunited. There is no pain just happiness for them both and we will see them again someday. Ron will be missed! Love, Randy and Jenny Gebhardt

RIP my brother-in-law, now you are no longer suffering in pain but with my sister, Olga Salas Dibble. All the family here in Franklin, TN will miss you.

Ronnie, I still can't believe that you have left us. My heart goes out to all who knew and loved you. You were one of the most kindest guys I ever met. We've known each other since we were teenagers and now there is a void that will never be filled again. You always had a smile and always so friendly to all. May your children and grandchildren know just how lucky they were to have you in their lives, I know because I was to have had you in mine. My friend may you rest in peace until we see each other again. Love to you and all of our loved ones you've been reunited with. My heart goes out to your incredible mother Alice, the pain and loss you must be dealing with. To your brothers whom you were so close to and shared so much with. Your sister Sally too. May God watch over all of you and keep you strong through this difficult time. My love to you all.

Ron it was a pleasure knowing you. I truly enjoyed visiting with you and hearing all the stories you had to share. I do have an apology to make for wasting time being as last summer I bought some flip flop lawn ornaments I found at a garage sale that I thought you would think were cool for the trail. I was going to give them to you and tell you they were like a representation of my footprints on the family trail. I am going to take them to the Dibble Homestead and put them on the trail Saturday when we celebrate your life. Sorry I didn't give them to you sooner. Thanks for the memories and those 3 awesome children you helped create that I am proud to call my friends. You will always be remembered. Much love to ya and may you rest in peace. Oh and by the way my sons said after the Dream Cruise this year that your truck is still the nicest and coolest out of the trucks of the same style. We missed seeing you there this year. They thought you were a really cool nice guy with a lot of talent. :) Rip Ron Dibble
