Mary Skidmore Obituary
She is preceded in death by her husband, Victor Skidmore Sr. and her son, Victor Skidmore Jr. She is survived by her son, Walter "Rusty" (Eunice) Skidmore of Miccosukee; and her daughter, Kay (Lewis) Reeves Jr. of Capitola. Mary Ann is also survived by numerous grand and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 12 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2014, at Indian Hills Baptist Church in Bushnell. Interment will follow in Indian Hills Cemetery.

You were the strongest woman I ever had the privilege to know, and though you won't be here physically I will always carry you in my heart and memories. You taught me that no truth can cure the sorrow we feel from losing a loved one. No truth, no sincerity, no strength, no kindness can cure that sorrow. All we can do is see it through to the end and learn something from it, but what we learn will be no help in facing the next sorrow that comes to us without warning. I love you eternally, always and forever. One day I hope to be at least half of the woman that you were. You are my hero.
