Marjorie Kiwala Obituary
Marjorie grew up in Dyersburg and later moved to Minneapolis to begin a career as a flight attendant with Northwest Airlines. She loved her work and proudly flew for forty years, touching the lives of countless passengers and colleagues along the way.
She met the love of her life, John Kiwala, and they married in 1974. They welcomed their daughter, Jennifer, in 1976. Family remained at the center of Marjorie's life. Known for her kindness, devotion, and warm heart, Marjorie also had a fondness for sweets that endeared her to many.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, William Thomas and Betty Sue Putman; and her beloved husband, John Kiwala.
She is survived by her daughter Jennifer Hayes and her husband, Gregory; her granddaughter, Gabrielle; her sister Joyce Price and her husband, Jerry; nieces, nephews; and many friends and neighbors who will cherish her memory.
Marjorie will be missed dearly by all who knew her. Further details regarding services will be shared by the family when available. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to The BrightFocus Foundation to help find a cure for Alzheimer's Disease.
