Angel Ramirez Obituary
A private family memorial service will be held at the Bertas Funeral Home, 200 West Third Street, Chaska, MN.
Angel was born July 26, 1928 in Turlock, CA to Blas and Paula (Alvarez) Ramirez, one of four children. On July 27, 1957, Angel married Donna L. Meath at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Richmond, WI. They had six children.
He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He retired from Roadway Express as Director of Registration in 1995 after 11 years of employment.
He enjoyed reading, board games, attending his grandkids sporting events and anything family related.
Angel and Donna had been residents of Ohio from 1983 - 2008 and then moved to Victoria in 2008. He was a member of St. Victoria Catholic Church, Victoria. Donna died in February of 2021.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Donna; son, Joey; parents; and siblings, Alex Torres, Smiley Torres and Beatrice Torres.
Survivors include his children, Terry Ramirez of Scottsdale, AZ, Kristie (Joe) Gorman of St. Paul, Greg (Nancy) Ramirez of Minneapolis, Mike (Katrina) Ramirez of Waconia, Sheila (John) Bogolin of Newburgh, IN; 14 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are with the Bertas Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Chaska, MN.
