Pierina Paris Obituary
Pierina Ferraro Paris, of New Haven passed away September 12, 2025 in Yale New Haven Hospital. Born in New Haven on November 15, 1966, daughter of Luigia Compare Ferraro and the late Angelo Ferraro, Pierina was an accountant with Burkland Associates for many years. Always helping people and making people happy, she volunteered as a member of the Wooster Square Monument Committee and as Treasurer of the East Haven Lions Club. Pierina enjoyed crafting, crocheting, cooking and baking and long scenic drives. She is the loving sister of Rosa Ferraro-Santana, Mary/Marie Grace (Mark) DeLucca and Angela (Clas) Thelin. Aunt of David Anthony Santana, Michael Christopher DeLucca, Jennifer Marie Burch, Julian Lee Santana and Nicole Lami. She is also survived by 3 great-nephews, 2 great-nieces and many loving friends.
Visiting hours will be held Wednesday evening from 4:00-7:00 in the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc., 11 Wooster Place in New Haven. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday morning at 10:00 in St. Elizabeth of the Trinity parish at St. Therese Church, 555 Middletown Avenue in North Haven. Please meet directly at Church. Entombment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
