Betty Carbert Obituary

Betty Ann (Gagne) Carbert, of St. Louis Park, passed away in the early hours of January 4, 2024.

She was born October 6, 1930 and grew up in Corcoran, Minneapolis, and Robbinsdale. After graduating high school, Betty opened up her own beauty shop.

She met Ralph Edward Carbert at Murray's Steakhouse and they got married in 1954. Betty and Ralph loved to travel to Mexico, Cuba, and the Tam O'Shanter resort in the 50s. The two founded R. C. Hydraulics in 1977 and worked there until retirement.

Betty was a beloved wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a caring neighbor and friend to many.

Betty is survived by her children Hugh Carbert and Diana Carbert, stepchildren Arthur Carbert and Carol Nygaard, five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Memorials preferred to STEP St. Louis Park Emergency Program. Memorial service 11:00am Friday, January 19, with visitation beginning at 10:00, at Washburn-McReavy Strobeck Johnson, 1400 Mainstreet, Hopkins.
