Marion Ann Linman

1929 - 2024

Marion Ann Linman, 94, of Minneapolis, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2024 while vacationing in Florida. She was surrounded by her three daughters and her son-in-law.

Marion was born on April 9, 1929 to Anna and John Zizak in Nordeast Minneapolis. After Marion graduated from Vocational High School in 1947 she met and married Edward Kutensky. The couple raised three daughters and her beloved Poodle, Gigi, in Coon Rapids. Marion went on to be an assembler at Honeywell and later Unisys. Later Marion married Ronald Linman. They loved to travel, especially to France, Italy, Mexico and Las Vegas. Marion loved to play golf and was still putting into her 90's.

Marion will be most remembered for her love of family, and her strong Catholic faith. She also loved Italian red wine and a good chocolate cake. She loved to go out to a good restaurant, most notably Jimmy's, Ciao Bella, Mill Valley Kitchen and Broder's. She was beloved by many waiters across the Twin Cities. She had a big smile that charmed everyone she met. A very small but mighty frame carried her great head of hair admired by all.

Marion was predeceased by her parents; her brothers: John, George, Paul, Joe, Francis and Michael. She is survived by her three daughters Cheri (Mike) Lilla, Sandy (David) Hoy and Janice (Ron) Mason; Grandchildren Matt, Katie, Ben, Sam, Maddie, Davey, Bobby, Alexandra, Michael; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Marion was loved by many, especially her childhood best friend, Doris, and many co-workers from Unisys. She was also beloved by the Lilla, Hoy and Mason extended families.

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 11am at St. Hubert's Catholic Church in Chanhassen, with a viewing at 10am.
