Mary Printy Obituary

Mary Joan Printy was born July 17, 1937 to Russell and Grace Johnson at their home in Independence, Minnesota. She passed away at home on April 7, 2025 at the age of 87.

She trusted Jesus Christ for her salvation at a young age and had a great desire for God and a love for His word. She graduated Orono High School, Long Lake in 1955 and attended Northwestern College. She married Robert Printy of Centerville, Iowa, in Sept. of 1957. They raised their family in rural Independence.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her brothers, Peter and Paul; and grandson, John Robert. She is survived by her five children, Mark (Karen) Printy, Wanda (Gene) Ohman, Joanne Cady, Dale (Amy) Printy, John (Sara) Printy; as well as 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 17 at Maple Plain Community Church, 1815 Budd Avenue, Maple Plain with visitation one hour prior. Interment Lewis Cemetery, Maple Plain. Memorials may be given to: COFHED, P.O. 4094, St. Paul, MN 55104; EXTOL Outreach, P.O. Box 126, Minnetonka Beach, MN 55361.
