Allen Fisher Obituary
December 22, 1946 - September 1, 2022
Ocean Springs, Mississippi - Mr. Allen Edwards Fisher, of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away peacefully at the age of 75, on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Allen was born on December 22, 1946 in Oneonta, New York to the late Elizabeth Edwards Fisher and Claude D. Fisher. His passions lead him to study at Florida State University, where he obtained his bachelor's degree, and he eventually earned his master's degree at Virginia Tech University. After 34 years of service, and lifelong friendships, he retired from his position as a Computer Programming Engineering Manager for the Naval Surface Warfare Center.
Aside from work, Allen was passionate about football and was a dedicated Florida State fan. He loved a good Mardi Gras ball and any celebration with his family and friends. In his free time, Allen enjoyed taking on various building projects, traveling, golf, boating, and spending time with his family.
Allen is preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth and Claude. His memory lives on in his loving wife Roxanne Gabrich Fisher of 38 years; his children Greg, Jason, and Justin Fisher; grandchildren Jiordan, Allie, and Savannah; Brother, David; and loyal pet, Tiffany.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to a charity close to your heart in Allen's memory.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, Sep 4, 2022 at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs. Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m.-3:00 p.m. with a service following at 3:00 p.m.
