Rev. Alvin J. Cook, 56, was a well loved son, brother, father, mentor, and Pastor. Rev. Cook was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher Cook. He was reared in Biloxi. After being called into the ministry, the Lord led him to build Emmanuel Baptist Church of Faith in Biloxi. He ministered there for 28 years to his flock. He is survived by his father, Willie J. Cook; mother, Willie M. Anderson Cook, brothers, Keith, Craig, and Dexter all of Biloxi; sister, Belinda Cook of Biloxi; one daughter, Shamika Toney, and other relatives and friends. Visitation 12/15 at 9 a.m. Funeral at 10:00 a.m. Burial in Amite, LA. Arrangements entrusted to Dickey Brothers Memorial Funeral Home in Biloxi. www.dickeybrothersmemorial.net
