Bert Brooks Obituary

Mr. Bert Dean Brooks, 81, of Wiggins died Thursday, February 24, 2011 in Wiggins. Mr. Brooks was a member of Perryville Baptist Church, retired painter from Hattiesburg Public Schools and a Game Warden for the State of Mississippi. Mr. Brooks was preceded in death by his son, Jessie Charles Brooks and two grandsons; Charles Adam Breland and Charles Nicholas Henderson. He is survived by his daughters Beverly (Robert E.) Anderson of Wiggins and Linda Henderson of Wiggins, his brothers, Harold Brooks and T. Boy Brooks both of Camilla GA, and Newt Brooks of Perkinston, MS. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, Valerie (Curtis) Farmer, Jillian Breland, Joshua Breland, and Eli Henderson, and his three great grandchildren, Jackson Farmer, John Farmer and Zeke Henderson. Services will be held Sunday, February 27, 2011 at Moore Funeral Home in Wiggins at 3:30 p.m. Visitation will be at 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in McHenry-Oaklawn Cemetery in McHenry. Moore Funeral Home Wiggins is in charge of the arrangements. You may sign the guestbook at .moorefuneralservices.com.
