Marvin "Barney" BARNETTE

A resident of Sacramento, CA, Barney joined the Lord and his wife on August 30, 2016 at the age of 83. Barney was a wonderful and loving husband to his wife, LaVelle. He was also a loving step father to Bobby Mouer, Brian (Ronda) Mouer Sr., Cheri (Kenny) Poore and Terry (Paige) Baumgartner. Cherished grandfather to Jeffrey, Samantha, Tommy, Brian Jr., Britney, Ashley, Andrew and Danielle and 9 great grandchildren. Barney (as everyone called him), was a kind, loving and generous man that will be missed by everyone's life he touched. Barney was a retired military veteran serving in the Army, Air Force and Marines. He was also retired from the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department, where he was a baker at the Cosumnes Correctional Center in Elk Grove.
