Chad Michael Eichhorn, age 22 and a resident of Gulfport, died Friday, September 24, 2004, in Gulfport.
Mr. Eichhorn was a native of Louisville, KY, and was a graduate of the Long Beach High School class of 2000. He was a member of the Long Beach High School football team and attended Gulf Coast Community College on a football scholarship. He was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Eichhorn was preceded in death by his best friend, Brian Cuevas. Survivors include his parents, John Eichhorn and Anita Eichhorn; a brother, Jeremy Eichhorn, all of Bay St. Louis; sisters, Candace Eichhorn, of Bay St. Louis; and Charity Eichhorn Hyatt, of Laurel; grandparents, Leo and Jenny Eichhorn, of Louisville, KY; Dan and Joann Reed, of Saucier; uncles and aunts, Tim and Sherry Elmore, Dave and Tammy Patton, Terry and Tammy Reed, Randy and Cathy Reed, Gary Reed, Bonnie Reed Levens, and Betty Collins; seven cousins, and his longtime companion, Michelle Mullins.
Visitation will be at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Long Beach on Friday, October 1, 2004, from 7 to 9 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the church at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 2, followed by burial in Long Beach City Cemetery.
