Chief Moore was my first Chief Controller of the Clark AB, Republic of the Philippines in 1980. He was an outstanding leader and commanded my respect based on his professionalism, leadership skills and his ability to make a positive impact on this very young airman back then. As the years passed, he became acquainted with my father, Richard Hashimoto, Col. USAF ret. In the Biloxi area where they both retired. Over several decades, Dad would see Chief Moore on Kessler AFB, and the Chief would always ask about how I was doing. I remember Chief Moore as my opportunity to see what the finest senior enlisted man should be and also as close to the original James Earl Jones voice I would ever meet. It is with regret that I have just learned of CMSgt Moore´s passing and hope that my meager words bring your family a sense of pride and perhaps a smile. It is also with regret that I inform you of the passing of my father on February 4, 2022. May God bless you all and give comfort to your grief.

My deepest sympathies on the loss of one of my absolute favorite people. I knew Mr. Moore only through my job at the post office, but I always enjoyed speaking with him. He was a wonderful example of a true
Christian man. Always kind and happy and a pleasure to interact with. May he rest in peace.

CMSGT Moore always was the epitome of pure class. His voice was perhaps the most amazing I have ever heard. The Coast has lost a treasure. Rest In Peace, sir.
