Mrs. Dorothy "Dot" Diaz, age 83, of Biloxi, MS., died Wednesday, July 19, 2006, in Benndale, MS.
Mrs. Diaz was a lifelong resident of the coast, residing at the Santa Maria Del Mar Retirement Apartments for 31 years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph L. Diaz, Sr., parents, Matt and Esperance Quave Moran, sisters, Velma Fournier, Faye Andrews, and Betty Moran, and brothers, Raymond Moran, Noll Moran, George Moran, Fred Moran, Murray Moran, John Roy Moran, Chester Moran and Earl Moran.
Survivors include two daughters, Rose Ann (DeDonk) Seymour and Kathy (Vernon) Lepre, both of the Larue Community, two sons, Ralph L. (Carol Sue) Diaz, Jr. of Perkinston, MS., and Chester L. (Nancy) Diaz of Natchez. MS., sister, "Jack" (Henry) Toncrey of D'Iberville, MS., ten grandchildren, Ralph L. Diaz III, Darlene Diaz, Corey Diaz, Lisa Seymour, Julie Welch, Troy Seymour, Suzette Salley, Chester "Bubba" Diaz, Melanie Romero, Michele Jolly, and nineteen great-grandchildren, Justin Diaz, Summer Diaz, Skylar Diaz, Tyler Wayne Diaz, Braley Diaz, Briton Diaz, Ashley Nolan Diaz, Brittney and Briana Farmer, John and Christopher Seymour, Matthew Seymour, Luke Seymour, and Austin Seymour, Faith Olivia Welch, Anthony Romero II, Katie Lamb, Chad Lamb, and Braden Jolly.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Visitation will be on Friday, July 21, 2006, from 5-8 PM, with a 6 PM Rosary, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Saturday, July 22, 2006, there will be a 10 AM Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where friends may call from 9-10 AM. Burial will follow in D'Iberville Memorial Park.

Miss Dot has always been in my childhood memories of times that I played in the family yard with all of you. She was always a sweeheart to me, and always a beautiful lady. My deepest sympathy to all of you. So sorry I could not attend her services for I now live out of state.

Rose Ann; Kathy & family I was so sorry to hear about your mom. I remember Ms Dot as a very lovely woman with a wonderful smile. Even though I have not seen her in many years I have never forgotten her. I know she will be missed by all of you. You have my deepest sympathy and prayers.
