Douglas Tootle Obituary
Douglas K. Tootle, age 54, of Ocean Springs, passed away on Friday, August 1, 2008 in Mobile, AL.
He was a life-long member of the Gulf Coast community. He was an avid golfer, a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Mr. Tootle was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Ella Nora Tootle; Step-father, George Ackerson and his brother, Wayne Patrick Tootle.
Survivors include his wife of thirty years, Deborah LeBlanc Tootle; his daughter, Merry Tootle Ramos and her husband, Abel; brother, Brigham Rex Tootle; grandson, Antonio Ramos and grand daughter, Maria Ramos all of Ocean Springs, MS, along with many aunts, cousins, nieces and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 3, 2008 at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 4, 2008 in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment to follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to, St. Vincent DePaul, St. Alphonsus Endowment Fund and The Lord is My Help.

I am so sorry to hear that Doug died. I met Doug, Rex and Nora in the eighties while visiting my dad (George Ackerson). Doug was a great guy. I love you guys. See you (not too) soon.

Doug and I went to High School together and I was so sorry to hear of his passing. My Father and Doug were always teasing each other and my Dad thought the world of him. My prayers to the family.

Debbie and Merry: Danny and I were so sorry to hear the news of Doug's passing. We both thought the world of him and will miss him. I am glad though that he doesn't have to suffer anymore. God bless you all.
