I worked with Ms Leigh for 6 years and she made a true mark in my life. She was always a lady and I will never forget her and her soft voice. I actually was thinking of her and started looking on the internet about 2 months ago for her. I'm sorry for your loss. She was a root to the southern ways. I will miss her dearly.

Bryan,
Leigh was a very kind and generous woman! I wished we could have spent more time with her. My last two sons (Colby & Cade) didn't get to meet her. I know they would have loved her. You and your family are in our prayers and take comfort in knowing that she will always be with us.

When I think of the Broadwater, I think of Miss Leigh. I was only 17 when I started working for Miss Leigh . She instilled in me, many valuable work ehtics that I still carry with me today. She will truly be missed, but always remembered in our hearts and memories. May Brian and his family find comfort in knowing she is now among the angels.
I love you! Arlean Kopszywa

With deepest sympathy to your family at the passing of Miss Leigh. I , like so many, worked for the Broadwater Hotel and she was a driving force in the success of the hotel. A true Southern lady. God be with you and yours.

I worked for Miss Leigh for years at the Broadwater also. She was a tough cookie, however, I admired her so much. I had spoken to her many times after I left the Mezzanin floor working for her and often wished I had never left. Deepest sympathies to her family and God Bless You All.

Brian, I worked for your mother when I was a young and very nieve 18 year old. She was truly a magnificent, brilliant and perfect lady. She taught me the importance of being a strong woman. Without her in my life I am sure I would have chose a different and less successful path. I owe her everything. I stayed in touch with her over the years and always just to let her know of any accomplishments I'd made. I remember watching Dominique when she was around 4 and 5. I will never forget your mother. Her firm yet gentle hand guided my life in the right direction.

Miss Leigh gave me my first official career boost, and I was delighted to have an office right next to her in the great corridor of the original Broadwater Hotel. Thanks for being so gentle and supportive and for sharing your storied past with me. I'm so glad that I was able to do a featurette on you for "The Broadwater News" and to share ideas with you on logo designs, ad concepts and so much more. I'll always think of you in your favorite tangerine suite.
Sleep well.

Ms. Leigh is the last of the great hoteliers from Biloxi's historic past. When I think back about working at the Broadwater when I was 30 years younger the way it was, conventions every day, golfers from every where in the States and the Royal Terrace with Leon Kelner and his orchestra. Ms. Leigh gave so many people their starts, their first opportunities to do something with their lives.
She put Biloxi on the map with her southern charm and good ole' homespun hospitality.
I'm so glad that I had the good fortune of knowing her and working with and for her. She will be missed.
Peace be with Ms. Leighs family, but know in your hearts that in Heaven she's planning the next great banquet.

Having the pleasure of knowing and working with you for more than 30 years, I enjoyed, and loved every minute.
The love and caring you had with my children was very meaning to me.
You will be missed by thousands of persons that you had contact with, but mostly by me.

Dear Brian and family,
I am so sad to hear about your mom/Miss Leigh. I worked with her for 2 1/2 years in the mid 1990's and loved her so much. She was a great lady and I am honored that I had the opportunity to work with her and know her personally. I recently saw her again at the symphony in Biloxi and she looked fabulous as always. My prayers are with you all.
Love,
Linda Stewart
