Elder Earnest Marshall worked with lcompanies such as Ford Motor Company, Edsel Car Company and Motor Parts and Machine Company were he served as a dedicated and loyal worker in the capacity of Automotive Specialist.
The only thing he loved more than his family was the Lord. Elder Marshall and his wife, Missionary Marshall founded the Tabernacle of Prayer for all People of Natchez, MS church; where Elder Marshall served as Pastor and Shepherd for 30 plus years. He believed in going to church and he took his whole family with him.
In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by two infant children, Jimmie Marshall and David Marshall, his parents, Everett Marshall and Bessie Marshall Johnson, one brother, Herman Marshall, one sister, Sallie Bell Patterson, and three grand children, Darrel Wesco, Jr., Alvin Marshall, and Anthony Louis Marshall II.
He is survived by five sons: Elder George (Linda) William Marshall, Sr. of Natchez, Bobby Marshall of Houston, TX, Terry (Debra) Marshall of Houston, TX, Everett (Linda) Marshall, Sr. of Bude, MS, and Anthony (Gina) Louis Marshall, Sr. of Biloxi, MS; four daughters: Joyce Ann (Elder Darrel) Wesco of West Palm Beach, FL, Bessie Ray (Laurie) Pinekney of Vidalia, LA, Tina (Don) Hunt of Corona, CA, and Jeanette (Cleophie) Rice Sr. of Natchez, MS; three sisters: Muzzet Smith of Milwaukee WI, Mary "Minnie Bell" Ellen Young of Natchez, Inell Lyles of Natchez, MS; 21 grand children, and 16 great grand children.
Services were held Saturday, December 6, 2008 in Natchez, MS. Elder Marshall will be placed to rest with his wife on Monday at Natchez National Cemetery, where he will receive military honors.
