Bay St. Louis, MS
Edward Finley Ybos, Jr. passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 in Bay St. Louis, MS. He was born in New Orleans, LA and was a resident of Bay St. Louis, MS for the past 45 years. He was a Veteran having served and retired from the U.S. Navy. Edward will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Katy & Edward Ybos, Sr., his loving wife, Mary R. Perniciaro Ybos, son, Edward J. Ybos, his granddaughter, Lisa Ann Ybos, brother, Walter E. Ybos, Sr., and 6 sisters, Lois Miller, Mirium Boykin, Agnes Slack, Millie Church, Joann Ybos and Marcell Tuell.
He is survived by his son, Chris M. Ybos, Sr. & his wife, Geralyn of Hattiesburg, MS; 2 sisters, Shirley Mary Ybos of New Orleans, LA, Leah Braquet of Bay St. Louis, MS; 2 grandchildren, Michelle Kirkpatrick & husband, Russ of Mobile, AL, Christopher Ybos, II & wife, Carrie of Memphis, TN; 5 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews.
The visitation is on Saturday, June 16, 2012 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS with a Prayer Service at 4:00pm. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery in Bay St. Louis, MS.
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS is in charge of the arrangements.

Chris, Geralyn and Family,
I am so sorry we could not make it for the funeral but please know you have our deepest sympathy. Know we will miss Uncle Eddie terribly. He was a wonderful man full of great family stories! I pray you only have happy memories of him on this 1st Father's Day without him. We will love and miss you so Uncle Eddie! We love you all.

Ybos you was my partner for 25 years at Stennis we road together everyday, Mary feed us and you was as close as a brother to me. We will miss you, but I know you and Mary are holding hands and smiling and watching over all of us. You was a great fireman. We pray for all the family, and celebrate your life.

I have many fond memories of spending time with Uncle Eddie as a child. He was a great guy, I admired his accomplishments and service with the Navy.
