July 15, 1937--November 6, 2016
Waveland, MS
Edwin Henry Brink, Jr., 79, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2016 in Waveland, MS. He was born in New Orleans, LA, was of the Catholic Faith and in 1937 was the Heinz Baby. He graduated from De La Salle High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy then he went to college at UNO. Edwin was a resident of Hancock County for most of the past 50 years. He never met a stranger, loved his family and enjoyed traveling with them and showing them the world. He also enjoyed the outdoors the Saints and LSU.
He is preceded in death by his father, Edward Brink, mother & step-father Ione & Clyde Rogers, former wife, Ingrid Brink and brother, Bernard Brink.
He is survived by his children, Edwin H. Brink, III (Charlene Dornak) of Houston, TX, Stephen Brink (Melissa) of Abita Springs, LA, Thomas Brink (Millie) of Houston, TX, Kim B. Martin (Greg Worley) of Baton Rouge, LA, Christine B. Poillion (T.J. Graham) of Bay St. Louis, MS and Jackie B. Ferrell (Anthony) of Kiln, MS, 2 brothers, Bruce Brink of Folsom, LA, Daryl Brink of Jefferson, LA, 2 sisters, Debbie B. Thompson of Bedico, LA and Cheryl B. Genusa of Harahan, LA. 9 grandchildren, 4 and one on the way great grandchildren, numerous nieces & nephews.
The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice, especially Heather, his caretakers, Bridgett, Shannon, Chase, Sharron and Victoria, his neighbors and many friends.
The visitation is Wednesday, November 9, 2016 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS with a prayer service at 1:00pm. Interment to follow in Gulf Coast Memorial Cemetery and Mausoleum in Bay St. Louis, MS.
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Sorry to hear of the lost of Mr. Brink Jr. The Bible tells us Draw close to God, and he will draw close to you. One of the principal ways to draw close to God is thorough prayer. Do not underestimate its value!
