Buffy Moosbrugger

BUFFY KRIEGER MOOSBRUGGER died peacefully in her sleep on March 14, 2026 at her home in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was 57.
Buffy was born on August 7, 1968 in Huntington, WV. She attended Gallaher Elementary and Beverly Hills Junior High. At the age of 13, she moved to join the Fort Lauderdale Swim Organization as an elite swimmer. She enjoyed an illustrious swim career, traveling the world. She then became a member of the Cincinnati Marlins Swim Club, where she continued to set new records as a freestyle swimmer. Her college experience was a full ride scholarship to L.S.U. She then followed her coach to the University of South Carolina where she graduated Cum Laude.
Buffy was predeceased by her brother Jace Krieger in 2018. She is survived by her parents John and Ann Krieger and her beloved, brilliant, amazing daughter, Gracee, 18 years old from Indianapolis. Buffy was a wonderful Mom to Gracee, respecting and loving each other deeply.
Our Buffy was a bright, funny, smart woman; and was loved universally by all of her friends, past and present.
