Ocean Springs, Mississippi - Edwin Michael Catchot, Sr., age 79, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on March 10, 2022.
He was born on November 27, 1942 in Biloxi, MS. He was a native and life long resident of the Coast. Edwin was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. He retired from Ingalls shipbuilding. Edwin enjoyed golf, fishing, and hunting.
Edwin was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Catchot, Sr. and Tillie Catchot; and his wife, Audrey Franklin Catchot.
He is survived by his sons, Joseph M. (Debbie Jo) Catchot, Edwin M. (Laura) Catchot, and Lance (Lindsey) Catchot; sisters, Donna Kaye (Jery) Guebard and Debbie Wallace; brother, Harold (Carolyn) Catchot; and grandchildren, Amber, Christopher, Victoria, Constance, Suzanne Gonzales, Kelle Sansone, and Wesley and Jordan Catchot.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Friends may visit one hour prior. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Ocean Springs is honored to serve the family of Edwin Catchot. View and sign online tribute at www.bokfh.com
