Frederick Peterman Obituary

Frederick Jessie Peterman, Jr.

Waveland & Kiln, MS

Frederick Jessie Peterman, Jr. entered eternal life on Wednesday, February 25, 2015, with his beautiful wife, Pearl, 4 daughters, Donna, Jan, Melanie and Dana, their Son Stephen, oldest granddaughter, Mandie and Great Granddaughter Olivia by his side. His spirit is carried on by his two sisters, Linda and Sharon, five surviving children, twelve grandchildren, five great grandchildren, son-in-laws, Scot Delcuze, and Freddie Sandrock and daughter-in-law, Colleen Peterman, nieces and nephews and countless souls he touched through his 75 years.

He joins his son Fred, grandson Brennan, great granddaughter Kamryn Alexis, nephew Kurt and many others that went before him in heaven.

An icon in his community, Mr. Fred could always be found behind the counter at Peterman's Lil Super, sharing heart-felt advice along with the world's best boiled crawfish. After Hurricane Katrina put him into early retirement, he was able to focus on his passions - yard work, fishing, and traveling to see his son Stephen in the NFL. His family is so grateful for the lessons he passed on, mainly that there isn't much more to life than faith in God, family, good food, and being outside.

The visitation will be on Monday, March 2, 2015, from 10 am to 12 pm at Annunciation Catholic Church in Kiln, MS, with mass at noon. He will be laid to rest at the Garden of Memory Cemetery in Bay Saint Louis, MS.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to C.A.S.A. of Hancock County, P.O. Box 4112, Bay St. Louis, MS 39521.

Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS is in charge of the arrangements.

Have such wonderful memories of Fred. Too many to share here there are stories of our of sons together ( Lil Fred and Stevie ) that caused us to age a little quicker, our trips to the Saints games, and our many dances at St. Clare's . Thank goodness he always had the little powdered donuts at his store,it was always a morning stop before school. I could go on and on. We lost a good one there. Prayers for the family.
