Uncle Fred was the first person to ever take me fishing along with my dad. It sparked a life long love for the water and his stories have inspired me to this day. What a great person from such a great family!

My friend and Neighbor. Fred what a great man & wife (Hazel)Taught me how to fish and could out fish anyone. Told me how to drive a boat on the river and what to look out for. You could pull up next to him and he´d be catching fish a say come over here there biting. Ms Hazel told me about this fast boat going bye flying, it was 5 horse they rowed to mouth to fish. So many more stories of their life. Will be greatly missed.

What a remarkable and totally humble man. He always gave so much and seldom asked for anything. I didn't get to see him very often in the past few years but when did I'd ask him. Are you still fishing? He'd reply. When ever I get the chance. This was well after he turned 100. He was a true gentleman.
