James Franklin "Frank" Cook, age 85, of Ocean Springs, passed away on July 3, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Ruth Cook; siblings Roy Anthony Cook, Jr., and Wesley Paul Cook.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Mai Cook; his children, Latricia Pizzetta (Lenny), Sue Rubinsak, Darline Atkinson (Charles), Robert Cook, Lesa Redd (Kenny), Thomas Daniel Cook, and Rosa Shrout (George); sisters-in-law, Shirly Cook and Cathy Cook; sixteen grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
He was 22 year veteran of the US Navy, and retired from Ingals shipbuilding as a maintenance electrician.
He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd., at Washington Ave. in West Jackson County, with Buddhist prayers from 9a.m. to 12p.m. with a continuing visitation from 12p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Chua Phu Hau Buddhist Temple 8900 Daisy Vestry Road. Biloxi, MS 39532.
