John Cruthirds Obituary
August 12, 2021
McHenry, Mississippi - John Timothy "Timmy" Cruthirds, age 62, of McHenry, MS passed away on August 11, 2021, in McHenry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Margurite Cruthirds; his sister, Isabel Cruthirds Allen; and his brother-in-law, Louis Wayne Allen.
Mr. Cruthirds is survived by his son, Jonathon Cruthirds and grandson, Mason. He is also survived by 7 siblings; Charles Cruthirds (Teresa), Mary O'Neal (Robert), Christine Miguez (Dale), Matt Cruthirds, Mark Cruthirds (Darlene), Juliet Bolling, Michelle Winsor (Richard), and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Timmy attended Long Beach Schools and worked for years as a specialist in the fiberglass industry. He was an avid fisherman who loved fishing for speckled trout, red fish and flounder.
Timmy was a gentle spirit who lived a down to earth existence. He truly believed "Life is very simple. Only people make it hard."
The family would like to thank Dr. Bobby Tullos, Pulmonologist and the staff at Southern Care Hospice, especially Josh Ward.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in celebration of his life at St. Thomas Catholic Church, 720 East Beach, Long Beach, MS.
