John William Mikovich
February 6, 2021
D'Iberville, Mississippi - John William Mikovich, age 77, of D'Iberville, MS passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021 in Gulfport.
John will be remembered as a loving father. He had a bold spirit and a larger-than-life personality. John was a success in business with a generous heart, willing to help those in need.
Born on June 3, 1943, in the small town of Mt. Olive, MS and the son of Frank and Eunice Estelle Mikovich. John played football and was a life long fan of the game. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.
With a vision for "Eye Catching Art", he rose to the executive level in advertising in New Orleans, LA.
John enjoyed life on the water. He traveled the Gulf of Mexico on his wooden boat, the "Miko" and enjoyed all that the open water had to offer.
John is preceded in death by his parents, Eunice Estelle Milling Mikovich and Frank Mikovich Sr.
Survivors include his two children, Karen (Brian) Freeman and Jonathan Mikovich; his grandchildren, Sarah Freeman, James Freeman and Mayme Mikovich; and his brother, Frank Mikovich Jr.
