Long Beach
Joseph Hale Gammel, 53, of Long Beach passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2015.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.P. Gammel and Dora Hale "Doty" Gammel.
Joe is survived by his siblings, Bobbie Faye Ferguson of Sherman Oaks, CA, Sharon Epstein of New York, NY, Paul Gammel of Carrollton, TX, and David Gammel of Long Beach; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Joe attended Mississippi State University and graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi. He was an Arkansas Razorback Fan, a staunch conservative, enjoyed fitness training, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Long Beach.
A service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 2:00 PM, at the First Baptist Church of Long Beach. Friends may visit an hour before the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Long Beach.

The Whole family were great friends and the best of neighbors. JP, Doty, Children all contributed to the community. They are missed and remembered with affection.

Joe always spoke to me wherever I saw him. He worked out at Beau Vie and I looked forward to seeing him there. Not too many young men take the time to speak and talk to us old people. June Gautier
