Gulfport
Larry Lee Ladner, age 74, of Gulfport, passed away on July 9, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer J. and Annie Ladner; a brother, Ray Ladner; and a great-granddaughter, Eden Rose Bosarge.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Dorothy Ladner; 4 children, Stephanie (Troy) Cuevas, Cherryl Bobinger, David (Rachel) Ladner, and Diane (John) Woodcock; his siblings, Kermon (Betty) Ladner, Elmer, Jr. (Myra) Ladner, Jeanette (Billy) Cuevas, and Charles "Hank" Ladner; 8 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
Larry retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding after 30 years of dedicated service. He spent most of his time fishing, camping in his travel trailer, watching Saints football, and he looked forward to shrimping during shrimp season. Larry also played the guitar and performed as a young man.
Visitation will be on Thursday, July 13, 2017, from 7 – 10 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. An additional visitation will be from 10 – 11 am on Friday with the funeral service at 11 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens.
The family would like to express their appreciation for the love and support of family and friends to include members of Gulfport Holiness Church and the staff of Deaconess Hospice.
