To the Herman Family, My heart goes out to you as well as my prayers &Condolences over Michele's passing. She was my Forensic Science Lab & Legal Research partner at USM. She was an awesome partner to work with & I always knew she would go far. Her dedication to helping those poor individuals was her passion with her love of animals being a close second. She will most certainly be missed and the Legal System has lost one of it's stars. Rest In Peace my old partner.

My sister, Michele, had a big heart, a great work ethic, a sharp mind, an independent nature, and the heart and determination of a warrior. Our family will miss her dearly but we know she is at peace. We know she touched many people fulfilling her passions in her unique and caring way.

I loved Michele. Though short in stature, Michele had a huge heart. Though she was a brilliant paralegal, what I loved about Michele was her giant heart. I had the pleasure and honor of working with her and considered her my friend. I have never known a more talented professional with a heart of gold. Though she covered it up with a gruff exterior, Michele loved the underdog. That explains her love of animals. I wish I had half her heart. I hate that she is gone too soon. The world needs more Michele's. To her family, my sympathy and sorrow for your loss. She loved so big and so strong. I can only imagine how much u will miss her. I miss knowing she is in the world doing all the good she did. Life is not fair. In Michele's case, this is especially true. I'm proud to have known Michele and that I called her a friend and a trusted co-worker.

Michelle was an able and intelligent paralegal. She "got it". She was also an old friend. The world is a lesser place for her loss.

Michele was a well loved friend, her warmth to her fiends was unmatched. Although we have not kept in touch through the years we have always loved her. Randy and I send our deepest sympathy to her family. She will remain ever young in our memories.

Thank you for supporting our Rescue and for all the sweet memories of rescue, transport and release. I shall forever treasure the canvas print of "One Eye Pelican" oh and the St. Francis statue that is sittimg in the rehab building where you put him, and where he shall remain. And yes, the wee handwoven possum you sent is on his leg.
You always paid attention to detail and made everyone's day~every day.
We will miss you dearly. We love you.
