Gulfport, Mississippi - Morgan Leslie Lance, 59, of Gulfport, MS went to be with the Lord Tuesday, June 28, 2022.
Morgan was born November 14, 1962, in Decatur, AL to Gerald Arthur and Beverly Ann Lance. Morgan grew up and graduated from Cleveland High School. He played football and was a member of the swim team. He worked as an off shoreman in the shrimp boat industry. He enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren, cooking for them, and watching his favorite team play football, Alabama.
He is predeceased by his parents, Gerald Arthur and Beverly Powell Lance, and brother, Gregory Lance.
Morgan is survived by his son, Brent Lance; daughter, Morgan Ashley Lance; grandchildren, Laiden Lance, Braylen Lance, Trace Harris, Fyscher Lance, Sailor Lance, Addisyn Black, and Ann-Collins Black; sister, Laura Lee Connell (Robert Ed); nephews, Carter Connell and Chase Connell.
