Raymond Lilly Obituary

Raymond Harold Lilly

Raymond Harold Lilly, age 88 of Cornersville, died Wednesday, January 22, 2014 in Marshall Medical Center.

Mr. Lilly was a native of South Charleston, West Virginia and son of the late George W., Sr. and Minnie Edna Morgan Lilly. He served his country during World War II and the Korean conflict in the U.S. Navy. He was a retired carpenter and member of the Cornersville United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Beane Lilly of Cornersville; daughter, Patricia Ondo of Antioch, California and step daughter, Tina Haynes of Murfreesboro; son, Raymond H. Lilly, Jr. of Chantilly, Virginia; two step sons, Terry Harrison and Tim Harrison, both of St. Louis, Missouri; sister, Mary Ann Neely of Beckley, West Virginia; two grandchildren, three step grandchildren and four great- grandchildren.

The family will be at Cornersville Funeral Home Friday, January 24, 2014 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. for visitation.

Mr. Lilly's body will be conveyed to Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens in Cross Lanes, West Virginia where services will be conducted in the chapel early in the week, with burial to follow.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warriors Projects, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675.

Cornersville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements, (931) 293-2862.
