Uncle Richard was a gentle man with a kind spirit and an open heart. Animals have lost a true friend and a safe haven. We will all miss his soft voice, long conversations about the Muskegon River and knowledge of family.

Uncle Richard lived a life time of love and kindness to animals. Thanks for showing me that heart and all the wonderful childhood river memories. Kim Welch (Mooresville, N.C.)

Christine, You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. There are never the right words to say with the loss of a loved one, because everyone grieves differently. But, as you do grieve, remember all the good times, and be thankful he is out of pain and in the arms of his father and embarking on a new journey now. God Bless You and Your Family.
