Gulfport, Mississippi - Mrs. Sandra Arlean "Sandy" Usey, age 80, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2021. Sandy was born in New Orleans, LA on August 10, 1941.
Sandy is survived by her loving husband, Robert Wayne "Bob" Usey, of Gulfport, MS.
Sandy is predeceased by her parents, Francis and Mildred Godfrey; and sisters Grace Smith and Shirley Polifrone; and her brother, Jack Godfrey.
Sandy is lovingly remembered by her children Ginger (Mike) Rewis, Robbie (Tobie) Usey, Kathy (Mike) Gibbs, Timothy (Allison) Usey, and Jennifer (Luis) Vieira; her grandchildren, Amber Rewis, Mikey Rewis, Hannah Rewis, Noah Rewis, Mattie Usey, Ru Usey, Livvie Usey, Michael Gibbs, Cannon Gibbs, Sandison Gibbs, Nancy Usey, Ty Usey, and Sarah Beth Usey; her sisters Kathy Simpson and Anne Fawcett; her brother Buddy Godfrey, and many nieces and nephews.
We will always carry your memory in our hearts. You will be missed dearly, but we find peace in knowing that you are now with our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Friends are invited to join the Usey family for visitation and services on Tuesday, December 21st at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 2090 Pass Road, Biloxi, MS 39531. Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Mrs. Usey will be laid to rest at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport, MS.
