Lisa Kanoff Obituary
Lisa's unwavering commitment to providing a nurturing environment led her to run an in-home daycare for 25 years. Following her retirement from daycare work, Lisa turned her attention to Sacred Hearts School, where she continued to make a positive impact on young lives.
Lisa's memory will forever be cherished by her husband Thomas; son Tom (Kirstin) Kanoff; daughter Stephanie (Connor) Stinson; son Nick (Brianna) Kanoff; grandchildren Maddie and Tommy; brother Christopher Ames Sr.; nieces, nephews, godchildren; as well as many relatives and dear friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother Lorraine (Henry) Kennedy, father Merle Jr. (Kathy) Ames, grandparents Frank (Carmela) Proto, Merle Ames Sr., and Helen Conklin.
To honor Lisa's life and celebrate the joy she brought into the world, visitation services will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cress Funeral & Cremation Service - located at 1310 Emerald Terrace in Sun Prairie. Additional visitation will take place on Saturday, November 18th, 2023, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Sacred Hearts Catholic Church, 221 Columbus Street, Sun Prairie. A Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 11:00 AM. Lisa will be laid to rest in a burial service at Sacred Hearts Catholic Cemetery in Sun Prairie immediately following the Mass.
