Just learned of Adolph's passing.
He was such a good neighbor...spent many an evening playing Pinochle.
Know he is missed. Love to the family.

Have not seen the "Rode boys", (Rudolf and Adpolf) in well over in well over the 50 years, they were not very big, but pound for pound they were the toughest guys in our class. Seems to me they actually wrestled alligators. I was glad that our parents were good friends, so I knew the Rode boys would help me out if some the tough characters known as "Davie Boys" messed with me.. Truly their families, all Rodes, were part of old Ft Lauderdale and Broward County.

I just reread what I wrote above about Rudolf, when he passed

away last year. What I said then about his brother, I would say about Adolph. We loss touch thru the years, and I lament that happened. They were very memorable in my high school days, I know it will a great loss to Adolph's family and his close friends.

Adolph, and Rudolph were very much a part of my young teen life, the times were simpler, Ft Lauderdale High was a great place to be in the 50's , we were all such innocents compared to the kids today, I have been in Naples for 56 years, and even over here it has grown, but you can never take our memories, of precious friends and wonderful times !!! to the family, my heart is with you !! the tough times will ease, but the treasure of his love will always be with you !!! I love you and am praying for you all !! Ivie Dell ( Sutton) Weeks
