NINA FAY RENO ALVERSON

LEEDS- Nina Fay Reno Alverson, age 78, passed to eternal life on Sunday, October 13, 2013. She was the youngest of three children born in Brompton, Alabama on September 25, 1935 to Louis and Ola Reno. She was raised in Leeds, a member of the 1953 graduating class of Leeds High School, and a longtime member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. Nina worked for twenty-two years as an accountant in the hotel industry and retired from Wal-Mart in 2010 after eleven years of loyal service. Preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Tommie Lou, a brother, Bobby, and furry pups, Fluffy, Megan, Murphy & Hogan; she is survived by her daughter, Jann (James Boggs), her son, Dennis, and her beloved pupper, Blaze. As per her wishes, a private graveside service was held at Cedar Grove Cemetery on Friday, October 18, 2013. She was a devoted Daughter, Sister, and Mother who is loved so very much; she was a kind, loving, and generous soul who lived her life with integrity and selflessness.
