Bruce L. Hollander

Bruce Louis Hollander, 79, of Boca Raton, Florida and formerly of Brooklyn, New York, passed away peacefully on April 14th. Beloved husband of Suretta Hollander, loving father of Cheryl Hollander Goldstein (Adam) and H. Paul Hollander, cherished sister of Carol Kruh (Stephen), and adored grandfather of David and Julie Goldstein. Bruce attended Leigh University and was a member of Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity. He graduated with a degree in engineering from Pratt Institute. Throughout his successful business career, he had many of his ideas and inventions patented. He was especially proud of the ones for Bio-Lok International that changed dental implant technology. Early in his career at General Electric, he developed a key part of the missile and space department's reentry system. Throughout his life, Bruce was a successful entrepreneur and consultant, helping many individuals and companies. Bruce was full of life, love and passion: First and foremost for his actual family and then for his friends that he considered and treated as family. He will be remembered for his zest for living life to the fullest as seen through his love and collection of fine wine, his horses and the thoroughbred racing world. His love of art, along with traveling the world with his loving wife and good friends, brought him so much happiness and joy. His passion in all endeavors was contagious, as he filled our hearts with love and compassion. He was always there for those he loved, helping in any way possible. From A to Z, he covered it all the best he could. Bruce was a great storyteller. He was a Jack of all trades and a master of all. All you needed to do was ask him. He loved fine clothing, the Pittsburgh Steelers, orchids, golf and a good meal. He will be sorely missed.
