Candace Jarrell Obituary

Jarrell, Candace Louise, of Ft. Lauderdale died suddenly Oct. 17, 2004 at the young age of 40. Candace was a devoted, loving sister and friend to many. Her kindnesses, honesty, and presence will be missed forever. Candace treasured the children of her family and many friends, whom she delighted in, acting as godparent, confidant and mentor. Candace was highly regarded in her chosen career, and a valued member of the Wachovia Bank Private Advisory Group. Associates and friends are shocked and saddened by the loss of a trusted and admired colleague. Her effervescent spirit, generosity, and warmth will be missed by co-workers, partners, and clients who knew her. The workplace was a joy because of her presence. She is survived by: sisters, Catherine Fawcett and partner, Richard Berman of Pompano Beach, FL, Sharon Griffin of Houston, Texas, Julie Jarrell, Bonnie Kelley of Klamath Falls, OR, and Dr. Willoughby Jarrell of Canton, GA; brothers, Robert L. Fawcett, Jr. of Bayou Vista, TX, Clinton W. Fawcett of Houston, TX and Steven E. Fawcett and family of Galveston, TX; and nephew Rodney G. Sims & family of Dickinson, TX. Candace is also survived by innumerable loyal and loving friends whom she considered her extended family. Candace leaves her two cherished dogs, Maxwell and Baylee. Friends will be received on Tuesday 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM at the T.M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home, 7001 NW 4 Street, Plantation. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:00AM at St. Coleman Catholic Church, 1200 S. Federal Highway, Pompano. Interment will follow at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1500 South St. Rd. 7, N. Lauderdale. Memorial donations to Hospice of Southeast Florida are welcome because of the tender care they gave her mother; 309 Southeast 18 Street, Ft. October 18, 2013

To My Beautiful Loving Sister, my trusted confidant, my closest friend, also from my love, Richard, yesterday marked nine years that we have not been able to see your radiant smile, hear your voice, or hug you. The pain has not left us and my heart and soul still ache every day, as does Richards' heart and soul. You lit up our lives, Richards', and mine. You left a beautiful life in our care, Miss BayLee, whom we were so privileged to have for the short time of eight years, five months and twenty-five days, for she joined you, CJ, on June 25, 2013. Richard and I want you to know that we miss “Our Girls” so very very much and we know in our hearts that we now have not one but two "Angels" watching over us. You both are forever in our hearts and souls. Dear Sister, we love you, Catherine and Richard - Miss BayLee we love you, Mommy and Daddy –

To my Beautiful Angel Sister, Candace, and my Beautiful Angel Girl, Miss BayLee. CJ and Miss BayLee, you are both "Angels"! I do not have the power to hold either of you in my arms, only in my heart. CJ, I miss your daily call when you would say, “Hey, What'cha doin'? We could spend 1 minute or hours on the phone, but now, NO. Miss BayBay, your beautiful little snorps and greetings at the door when arriving home, are so dearly missed. On my most recent visit, this past week, it was difficult to hold back the tears, so I sat on the wet ground and just cried. You both are so dearly missed!!! With all my love, Sister Catherine and Mommy Catherine……

My Sister, My Friend, My trusted confident, I have somethimng to tell you. Today is the 2nd day of July, 2013. On the 25th day of June, 2013 Miss BayLee lost the battle against several complications and now has passed on to be with you. She got to see the BIG SUPER MOON the night of the 24th and just stared at it as if she knew. She always enjoyed star gazing and moon gazing. She was so loved by Richard and I. We miss her very much. After 9+ years, the hole in my heart & soul had finally begun to turn a corner, but now it feels like they have been dealt another blow. Dr. Thieme took care of her and all we could do is hold her and let her know we loved her and that soon she would see her Mommy. Richard and I WILL LOVE YOU AND BAYLEE FOREVER

Two years ago on this day,
You and I together played
Two Years ago on this day,
I kissed your cheek and hugged your neck,
I said I'd see you later, Sis
Two years ago, on this day,
I never dreamed I'd see you at a place like this.
Two years ago on this day,
As I reminisce all the smiles and tears through the years
I miss you, Sis, and wish
I’d never had to see you at a place like this.

In loving Memory of Candace Louise Jarrell, My Sister and Friend,
Love you always,

Julie, Bonnie, and Willie,

I am so very sorry to hear of such a tragedy. I have so many memories of all of you and Candi when she was so little. Remember when she locked us in your room, Julie? We had to call out the window for help.

I wish you all comfort and peace somehow. Memories go a long way toward that. Julie, I know you were a good sister to Candi. I saw you om a daily basis with her.

Peace to your whole family,

I grew up with Candi in Plymouth, IN and I remember all the fun times we had on Pretty Lake. Candi was a warm and loving person, fun to be with, a good sport when being teased (and teased her we did), and always generous with her time and attention. While we grew apart and lost touch over the years the pain and emptiness that her passing brings has made me realize that she remained in a special place in my heart.

As the Class of ’82 takes time to mourn and remember Candi I hope we remember all the relationships that were made over those years and make an effort to re-connect with lost friends. I think that is something Candi would want.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Having known Candace through Wachovia, I am grief stricken over her tragic and senseless loss. She was a terrific person and a valued friend. It has been impossible for me to reconcile her passing and I can only take some small solace in the words of a spiritual man who once wrote: "There is no end. For the soul, there is never birth nor death. Nor, having once been, does it ever cease to be. It is unborn, eternal, ever-existing, undying and primeval." My thoughts and prayers go out to out to her family and know that Candace will live in our hearts and minds eternally.
